New year, new client!

With over 130 years of experience and over 9,300 highly skilled employees, KCA Deutag is one of the world’s leading drilling and engineering contractors working onshore and offshore with a focus on safety, quality and operational performance.

It’s fitting for us at Reuzer that we should collaborate with a business which prides itself on safety, innovation and technology to transform operations, three values we hold close to our heart.

The project

This custom project is unique in its nature. We’ll be working alongside KCA Deutag to create an interactive training video, delivered in English, Russian and Arabic and closely aligned to KCA Deutag operations. The video will focus on ‘Dropped Objects’ and will cover their potential impact as well as typical control measures to prevent and mitigate them.

This is unique

This isn’t a typical video! With the geographic spread of the KCA Deutag team, the hugely varying bandwidth capabilities, the language differences and something called COVID-19, we had to think outside of the box! We’re creating a video which can be delivered in a range of playback methods. So whether in the classroom, on-site, on The Reuzer Platform or via Zoom, everyone gets the same experience from the same video. And it’s designed to get people talking, the end product will feature several strategically placed interactive pause points for group discussion, allowing experiences to be shared and questions to be asked.
