Member of the Year

On the evening of December 5th, 2024, Reuzer attended the prestigious East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) annual awards ceremony held at the elegant Dunston Hall.

The event was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and outstanding contributions within the energy sector, gathering leading industry professionals for a memorable evening.

Reuzer entered the event with anticipation, having been shortlisted for the highly competitive Innovation Award. Facing stiff competition from energy sector leaders RWE and Osbit, Reuzer’s work in developing a cutting-edge competence management system for the industry was recognized as a finalist in the category. Ultimately, the Innovation Award was deservedly won by Osbit, with Jason Brighton accepting the honor on behalf of their team.

Despite the slight disappointment, the Reuzer team took the moment in stride, enjoying a festive Christmas meal during the awards. Spirits were high as the evening continued, showcasing the warmth and camaraderie that defines the energy sector’s end-of-year celebrations.

The turning point came as Karen Freeman, EEEGR General Manager, took the stage to present the coveted Member of the Year Award. What followed was an unexpected and thrilling surprise for Reuzer: they were announced as winners of the award, alongside fellow EEEGR member ODE.

This honor recognized Reuzer’s outstanding contributions to EEEGR’s activities and initiatives throughout 2024.
