Built for Insight

In digital learning, SCORM has been the standard for years. It’s reliable, widely adopted, and still plays an important role in how organisations deliver training.
But the question now isn’t whether SCORM works.
It’s whether it’s enough.
SCORM: Strong Foundation, Clear Limits
SCORM was built for a different era of e-learning. It tracks completions well, supports structured courses, and remains essential for compliance.
But it offers a limited view of learning. Typically, you get completion data and pass/fail outcomes—but very little insight into behaviour.
Where did users disengage? What didn’t land? Where are the real knowledge gaps?
Those answers are harder to find.
There’s also a practical challenge. SCORM introduces friction—packaging, uploading, testing, and repeating that process whenever content changes. It works, but it slows things down.
How Learning Is Changing
Learning today looks very different.
We’re seeing a clear shift away from long, 30–40 minute courses towards short, focused content—often five or six-minute, story-driven animations based on real incidents. It’s quicker to consume, easier to retain, and far more aligned with how people engage with content day to day.
But it also demands faster production and faster delivery.
A More Direct Approach
To support this shift, we’ve evolved how content is delivered within the Reuzer Platform.
Instead of wrapping everything in SCORM, video can now be delivered directly.
A user receives a secure magic link, clicks it, and instantly accesses the content. They can leave and return later, resuming exactly where they left off. Completion, certification, and tracking all happen in the background. It removes friction entirely—no logins, no navigation, no unnecessary steps.
At the same time, it simplifies the workflow. Content can be created, exported, and deployed in one process, without packaging or repeated testing cycles.
Deeper Data, Real Insight
This isn’t about replacing SCORM—it’s about going further.
As organisations become more data-driven, pass/fail is no longer enough. The real value is understanding why.
Why are people failing? Why are they passing? Where are they disengaging?
With direct video delivery and integrated analytics, we can now see exactly how users interact with content—where they stop watching, what holds attention, and what doesn’t. We can also analyse performance at question level. If large groups of users are getting the same question wrong, that’s not just a statistic—it’s a signal.
It might indicate a knowledge gap. Or a poorly written question. Or supporting content that isn’t clear enough.
Either way, it gives organisations something they’ve never really had before: actionable insight.
Built for Insight
This is where Reuzer is different.
Rather than relying on disconnected tools, we’ve built key components natively—our own SCORM player, Quizbuilder, and video delivery.
That control allows us to capture and connect data across the entire learning experience.
We’re now extending that further. Documents will soon become trackable learning elements, allowing organisations to see not just who accessed them, but how they engaged with them.
All of this feeds into structured learning paths—combinations of videos, documents, quizzes, and courses that support onboarding, procedural rollouts, and ongoing development.
The result is a more complete picture of learning.
Not just what was completed—but what was understood.
The Bigger Picture
SCORM remains part of the ecosystem. But it’s no longer the boundary.
The future of learning is about flexibility, speed, and insight—delivering content in the right format, while understanding exactly how it performs.
At Reuzer, we’re building a platform that does both.
Because better data doesn’t just prove training happened.
It shows whether it worked.
