Time for change

Within the Reuzer team we have over 40 years of experience creating digital content for the oil and gas sector. And over those 40 years, one thing has never (until now) changed: The dreaded Safety Alert.

The Safety Alert, Safety Moment, Time out for Safety, Lesson Learnt (whatever we decide to call it) has lagged behind in its delivery.

Picture this scenario

… someone gets seriously hurt, you need to let everyone know exactly how and why this happened and more importantly, how you can prevent it from ever happening again. So you send a PDF attached to an email and hope that everyone reads it 🀞🏻🀞🏻

But it doesn’t work, and they won’t read it.

Better options

When it comes to sharing safety-critical information we need better options and content more in-tune with a modern workforce, user learning styles and in more accessible formats. And that’s where we’ve stepped up the safety alert game and challenged the delivery method.

In 2023 alone, we’ve created nearly 15 visual, 2-3 minute, fully animated and professionally narrated safety alerts – allowing the user to see exactly what happened and importantly, how it happened, instead of reading a PDF and letting the imagination run wild.

And we’ve not just left it there. We’ve used the content to create extra collateral for our clients. From posters, screen-savers and hosted content on the Reuzer Platform, our new approach is finally enabling our clients to see the analytics and usage data relating to the content. This new approach allows our clients to see extra return on their investment and an easier nights sleep – knowing that they haven’t just ticked a box and hit send on an email, but actually delivered some meaningful and impactful learning to their teams.
