Overview –
The creation of multiple interactive training videos for KCA Deutag in English, Arabic and Russian.
Who?
With over 130 years of experience, KCA Deutag are one of the world’s leading drilling and engineering contractors working onshore and offshore with a focus on safety, quality and operational performance.
KCA Deutag operate approximately 110 drilling rigs in 20 countries, either directly or through affiliates, employing people in Africa, Europe, Russia, the Middle East, the Caspian Sea and Canada.
What?
We’ve been working alongside KCA Deutag for 6 months, supporting them with their internal training for their land rig division. To date, we’ve created 3 short and interactive training videos focusing on dropped objects, supervisory skills and hand/finger injury prevention.
Each interactive video is between 15 and 30 minutes in duration, and designed to be taken online, or facilitated in the classroom by an instructor.
Each video centers on the theme of interaction and discussion. All feature strategic discussion points as well as 3D / 2D animation, KCA Deutag photography and the re-creation of real life events and scenarios from within KCA Deutag. Aside from the delivery of the videos, we’ve also delivered instructor guides, icons and posters to support the on-going safety campaigns and the KCA Deutag #drivetozero.
