Wellness Sessions

As part of its wider Tide Wellbeing initiative, Tide Medical has been building a rich library of content designed to support healthier, more balanced lifestyles.
From podcasts and filmed guides to lecture-style wellness sessions, the goal is simple: make expert-led wellbeing advice accessible, engaging, and easy to absorb.
We partnered with the Tide team to elevate one of those sessions—“Is My Stress Chronic?”—and transform it into something more visually engaging, without losing the authenticity of the original delivery.
The session itself features Dr. Melissa Allen, who specialises in stress and its impact on both physical and mental health. Filmed in a traditional presentation style, Melissa talks through the nuances of stress—how it can be both beneficial and harmful—supported by a simple PowerPoint and a presenter avatar positioned on screen.
We carefully selected our wellbeing topics based on the real needs and challenges identified within the workforce, focusing on areas that have the greatest impact on both physical and mental health.
By aligning our content with evidence-based practice and practical relevance, we aim to deliver meaningful, lasting change.

While the content was strong, the visuals were fairly static. That’s where we saw an opportunity.
Rather than relying on stock imagery or basic slide design, we wanted to create something more distinctive—something that could bring the topic to life in a way that felt human, relatable, and memorable. To do that, we collaborated with illustrator Emily House, whose background in children’s book illustration brought a fresh and expressive style to the project.
We provided Emily with the session transcript, video, and existing slide content, and gave her creative freedom to interpret the key moments visually. One of the main challenges was ensuring everything remained deliberately generic—avoiding any specific demographic or scenario—so the content could resonate with as wide an audience as possible.
Emily developed a series of beautifully crafted, layered illustrations. This layered approach was key. It allowed our team at Reuzer to animate individual elements independently, adding subtle motion, depth, and flow across each slide.
We then integrated these illustrations directly into the original session, keeping Melissa’s on-screen presence while enhancing everything around her. The result was a seamless blend of expert-led content and custom animation—striking a balance between clarity and creativity.
Alongside the visuals, we also established a dedicated wellness session identity. Working within Tide Medical’s existing brand, we developed a consistent look and feel for intros, outros, and transitions—creating a repeatable format for future sessions in the series.
The final output is an eight-minute, short-form learning resource that feels polished, engaging, and easy to follow. Subtle animation, clean transitions, and carefully placed sound design all contribute to a calm, professional viewing experience—perfectly aligned with the subject matter.
More than just a single video, this project helped define a scalable approach for Tide Wellbeing’s future content—proving that even simple, lecture-based material can be transformed into something visually compelling and highly effective.
We’re delighted to be working with Reuzer, whose innovative approach and shared commitment to improving workplace wellbeing make them an ideal partner for this programme.
