Rig Tools wanted to demonstrate the benefits of their FOSV Handling Tool—making it clear how it improves efficiency and removes the need for manual chain tongs.
This was the third in a series of animations we’d produced for them, each focused on showcasing their innovative tools in a way that’s clear, engaging, and easy to understand.
For this project, we created a 90-second 3D animation that told the story visually, without relying on audio.
Key wording prompts appeared on screen to guide the viewer through the sequence, ensuring it could be understood in any context, whether played on mute at an event or shared online.
We structured the animation to first show the old, time-consuming method, before transitioning to the new process using the FOSV Handling Tool.
This comparison highlighted the benefits instantly: with the new tool, safety valves can be quickly stabbed and screwed in—no manual chain tongs required.
To make sure the narrative was right, we developed a detailed visual storyboard and walked through it with the client during a review call.
Together, we made some adjustments, fine-tuning the sequence so it told the story exactly as Rig Tools intended.
The final animation was sharp, visual, and highly effective at showing the value of the FOSV Handling Tool.
It gave Rig Tools a powerful piece of content they could use across marketing, training, and sales channels to highlight the efficiency and safety improvements their product delivers.
